WPC stands for Wood-Plastic Composite. It’s an engineered material made by combining wood fibers or sawdust with thermoplastic resins (typically PVC or HDPE). A typical formulation consists of about 60% wood fiber, 30% plastic (HDPE), and 10% chemical additives. Outdoor WPC products look like natural wood but performs far better in demanding environments.
Because WPC doesn't contain formaldehyde or volatile organic compounds, it’s also a safer choice for both installers and occupants. And when its service life is over, WPC can be reground and recycled—making it a truly sustainable building solution.
